Trumpets is set to restage its biggest musical, Joseph the Dreamer (JTD) with Sam Concepcion in the title role. Based on Cam Floria’s cantata, JTD has touched countless lives with the message of hope, forgiveness and God’s love.
Sam will fill very big shoes since the role was played by big names in theater and music industry including Audie Gemora, Franco Laurel, and Gary Valenciano. The revival is set to open in early 2020 with concert director, Paolo Valenciano at the helm.
Paolo says the challenge is to put the show’s message across especially to those who don’t want to hear it but feels very honored and blessed with the opportunity to direct a beloved Trumpets show which he saw a lot growing up.
