Despite the global political unrest, netizens have much ado about Piolo Pascual in Andok’s newest advertisement. Andok’s Litson Corporation scored big with this TVC as it really captures the heartbeat or the Pinoy’s “Chibok ng Puso.”
The ad begins with old friends bumping into each other at an Andok’s outlet, now with their respective children, Brian and Carla.
Brian reaches out for the lechon manok from outside the glass enclosure. Carla stops him cautioning him that it is hot. Brian and his mom are given a ride by Carla’s parents and that was the start of their friendship. They spend a lot of time together eating Andok’s.
After some time, Carla’s father gets reassigned which causes the two kids to get separated. Before the emotional departure, Carla tells Brian that wherever there’s Andok’s,he will find her there.
Determined to reunite with his special someone, Brian goes to Andok’s many branches nationwide in search of Carla. Many years of searching pass and Brian becomes an adult (now played by Piolo) still searching for his girl. He gets hungry, stops by an Andok’s, and again reaches out for the chicken. A beautiful lady stops him and cautions him that it is hot. – It was Carla. They hold hands, kiss tenderly and the ad ends with a slogan that says “true love never chickens out.”
