Ovation Productions just confirmed that a second night has been added to the Manila leg of the Alanis Morissette 2020 World Tour. Manila tour dates are now April 6 & 7, 2020. It will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Below is the Instagram post of Ovation Productions:
Jagged Little Pill gained tremendous success. It sold 60 million and went platinum 16 x and went diamond once. It includes smash hits including “Ironic,” “Hand in My Pocket” and “You Oughta Know,” Alanis sang of the moody contradictions and frustrations of the era’s youth.
It’s been 24 years since the ’90s icon was in the country for a concert. Her last Manila visit was in 1996. This is probably why her fans cannot get enough of her.
We have friends who got disappointed that the tickets got sold out soon after the announcement was made. And they were clamoring for an extra performance date.
So Mark these dates for ticket availability: Globe exclusive sale is on February 28 12nn, and public sale starts February 29 12nn at www.smtickets.com! #GlobeAlanis. Tickets for April 6 show were sold via SM Tickets from P2,700 to P12,700. We can only assume that ticket prices will be the same as the opening night.
Whie waiting for tickets to be available, we leave you with one of the more popular songs in Jagged Little Pill below. Feel free to sing along.
