Previews for BOOP! began on March 11, 2025, at the Broadhurst Theatre, with the official opening set for April 5, 2025. The production blends Betty Boop’s timeless charm with a fresh Broadway experience, delivering an adventure that transforms her black-and-white world into a colorful spectacle filled with music and love. The show follows Betty as she dreams of an ordinary day off from her super-celebrity life, only to find herself on an extraordinary New York City adventure that reminds her—and the audience—that “You are capable of amazing things.”
Jasmine Amy Rogers, who earned critical acclaim during the show’s pre-Broadway run in Chicago, stars as Betty Boop. Rogers brings her unique energy and charm to the role of the animated icon. Tony Award®-winner Faith Prince plays Valentina, a key figure in Betty’s adventure, while Ainsley Melham takes on the role of Dwayne, Betty’s love interest.
The cast also includes Erich Bergen as Raymond Demarest, Stephen DeRosa as Grampy, Anastacia McCleskey as Carol Evans, Angelica Hale as Trisha, and puppeteer Phillip Huber as Pudgy the Dog. Aubie Merrylees completes the core cast as Oscar Delacorte. Additional cast members include Lawrence Alexander, Colin Bradbury, Tristen Buettel, and many more Broadway veterans and rising stars.
