The comeback season of ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) is set to premiere on March 29 and 30, bringing fresh talent and star power to the stage. This exciting news was revealed during a media conference held on March 19 at the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City.
For Season 7, PGT has a new panel of judges: actress Kathryn Bernardo, actor Donny Pangilinan, and comedian Eugene Domingo, and former ABS-CBN president Freddie “FMG” Garcia. The show will air every Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
At the media event, the judges expressed their enthusiasm about their new roles. Returning judge Garcia is especially optimistic, believing this season will showcase some of the best talent yet. “The talents we have right now have leveled up. They could be compared to world-class acts,” he shared, adding that this season will be exceptional thanks to the chemistry between the judges.
Each judge brought their own unique perspective on what makes a talented performer. Domingo emphasized the importance of a compelling performance that captivates the audience, while Bernardo is drawn to unique talents that leave a lasting impression. Pangilinan looks for performances that create an emotional shift, while Garcia highlighted the “wow factor” that makes a performance unforgettable.
The official trailer and poster for PGT Season 7 were also unveiled, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s to come. With a dynamic new judging panel and an array of talented contestants, this season is sure to be one of the most memorable yet.
