Broadway is buzzing with excitement as Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren make their highly anticipated return to the stage in The Last Five Years. The beloved musical officially began previews on March 18, 2025, with the opening set for April 6 and a limited run ending on June 22, 2025.

This marks the first-ever Broadway production of the show, one of the most popular musicals of the last 25 years. Featuring a powerhouse score by Tony Award® winner Jason Robert Brown, the musical explores the complexities of love and heartbreak through the eyes of Jamie Wellerstein (Nick Jonas), a rising author, and Cathy Hiatt (Adrienne Warren), an aspiring actress. Their five-year relationship unfolds in an unconventional narrative: Jamie’s story begins at their first kiss, while Cathy’s starts at their breakup. This heart-racing theatrical event spans 90 minutes, taking audiences through the highs and lows of falling in and out of love.
Under the bold direction of Tony Award-nominated Whitney White, The Last Five Years introduces new orchestration, expanding the musical’s instrumental arrangement with a nine-piece band (instead of the usual six). The production promises to deliver an emotional and intimate experience, combining the raw honesty of Jason Robert Brown’s score with the powerhouse performances of Jonas and Warren.
