a huge applause. Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia would undoubtedly be very proud.
Now streaming on Disney+ in the Philippines, the show is like a good book you just can’t put down. In ten episodes, it delivers a perfect balance of humor and heart, with each chapter bringing familiar chuckles at every turn. The show strikes a special chord with those who recognize the quirks of life—whether you’re a theater kid who love Sondheim or Elphaba, friends who spontaneously perform girl group production numbers, or towel fashion shows. It captures the little joys and absurdities of life, offering a refreshing and nostalgic take on friendship.

The series subtly weaves in tender moments that tug at your heartstrings, only to turn around and deliver gut-busting laughs. Towards the latter part of the series, you’ll find yourself both crying and laughing at the same time.
At its core, the series carries an important message: old age and death will find us all, whether we’re ready or not. But we can face it gracefully, fabulously, and with the support of those we love. The Desert Queens and the rest of the characters beautifully embody this, showing us that we don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, executive producer Ryan Murphy, and director James Burrows deserve a huge applause. Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia would undoubtedly be very proud. We can not wait for the next season.
