At the 2025 Olivier Awards, the celebration of West End theatre’s brightest stars concluded with a special tribute to Les Misérables on its 40th anniversary. A stunning Les Mis medley was performed by Lucie Jones, Rachelle Ann Go, Shan Ako, Nathania Ong, and Bradley Jaden, featuring iconic songs “On My Own,” “I Dreamed A Dream,” and “Stars.” Watch video below:
Rachelle Ann Go reflected on the experience in an Instagram post, recalling her involvement with the musical. “11 years ago, I had the honor of performing this very number in Les Misérables’ 30th anniversary alongside legends like Frances Ruffelle, Carrie Hope Fletcher, and Patti LuPone,” she wrote. “To return and sing it again at the Olivier Awards for the show’s 40th anniversary — this time with the incredible Bradley Jaden, Lucie Jones, Nathania Ong, and Shan Ako — was surreal. Full circle, heart full. Forever grateful to be part of this timeless legacy.”
Go has played Fantine in several stagings of Les Misérables, including its 30th anniversary production at the Sondheim Theatre. Rachelle made her international breakthrough in 2014 as Gigi Van Tranh in the West End revival of Miss Saigon and later reprised the role on Broadway in 2017. She is also known for her portrayal of Eliza Schuyler in the original 2017 production of Hamilton on the West End.

Rachelle now resides in London with her children, Lukas and Sela, and her husband, Martin, a real estate advisor. They were in Manila last December when she performed the opening number at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival.
Les Misérables continues to be a global sensation, with 130 million people having seen the show across 53 countries and in 22 languages. It is currently running at the Sondheim Theatre in London.
