Maxie Andreison has just released the official music video for his inspiring single “Halika Na, Lika Na” on April 10, 2025, and fans are celebrating the visuals and powerful message behind the track.
Written and produced by Maxie himself, the song was first released on February 24 and quickly struck a chord with listeners. With melody and beats that blend strength and softness, “Halika Na, Lika Na” is about healing, letting go of emotional baggage, and moving forward with courage.

In the video which currently has almost 100K views (as of this writing), Maxie appears out of drag, portraying a straight man — a fresh look that showcases his range as a performer. The video also features special appearances by models Zeinab Harake and Bethany Talbot, adding warmth and familiarity to the visual story. It was directed and edited by Jamie Astrid of Astrid Studios.
A Song With a Message
The lyrics speak to anyone navigating pain, change, or uncertainty. Lines like:
“Handa na bang lisanin mabigat na bitbit
Maxie Andreison
Magaan ang buhay wag problemahin”
“Lalakbayin natin sarili natin kalawakan
Halika na lika na”
…invite listeners to release the weight of the past and embrace a journey toward hope and self-discovery. The song becomes both a comforting hand and a push forward — reminding us we’re never truly alone.
Backed by the Maxie Band
Maxie is joined by a talented band that brings the song to life:
- Akie Cedilla – Drums
- Keener Dollosa – Keyboard

Before dropping the music video, Maxie hosted a successful concert, “Maxieverse,” at Aliw Theater on February 22. While Day 2 of The Ultimate Maxieverse (originally set for April 5 at the Cuneta Astrodome) was canceled, Maxie made sure fans didn’t miss out — treating ticket holders to a free concert instead.
Known offstage as Jayvhot Galang, Maxie is not only a singer and performer but also a trailblazer. He is the winner of Drag Race Philippines Season 3 and a contestant on Queen of the Universe Season 2, breaking barriers and redefining what it means to be an artist.
With “Halika Na, Lika Na,” Maxie continues to inspire fans with his talent, honesty, and resilience. It’s more than just a music video — it’s a reminder that brighter days are always ahead.
