Horror returns with Sony Pictures’ 28 Years Later, the third installment in the series following 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007). Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland—who first terrified audiences with the original—are back to expand the story of the rage virus.

Set nearly three decades after the virus first broke out, the world remains broken and dangerous. Quarantine zones are still enforced. Survival is a daily struggle.
