The holidays came early as Disney+ released a teaser for the highly-anticipated “Doctor Who” Christmas Special, “The Church on Ruby Road,” ahead of the December 25 premiere (available at 9:55 a.m. PT / 12:55 p.m. PT).
Christmas Special welcomes Ncuti Gatwa as The Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as his new companion, Ruby Sunday.

About the special
Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins, and perhaps the secret of her birth.
Recently, Gatwa and Gibson pushed the button to light the London Eye landmark in the colors of the iconic “Doctor Who” Time Vortex earlier to celebrate the premiere. A blue carpet world premiere screening of the Christmas Special and Q&A with Gatwa, Gibson and showrunner Russell T Davies took place at the British Film Institute, Southbank.
“Doctor Who” is produced by Bad Wolf with BBC Studios, for BBC and Disney Branded Television. Executive producers include Davies (writer and showrunner), Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner, Joel Collins and Phil Collinson.
“Doctor Who” 60th Anniversary Specials “The Star Beast,” “Wild Blue Yonder,” and “The Giggle” are now streaming on Disney+.
