March 17, 2025. Philippines — Disney today announced the release of Nasaan ang Hiling, the Filipino version of Waiting on a Wish from “Disney’s Snow White.” The local rendition is performed by actress-singer Maymay Entrata and will be released as a single digitally and in a music video on March 19.
In her first experience lending her voice for a Disney release, Maymay shared that what she likes most about the song is its empowering message, which she thinks will resonate with the youth. “I want this song to help them to keep dreaming and to have faith, kasi with faith, anything is possible,” she shared. (“I want this song to help them to keep dreaming and to have faith, because with faith, anything is possible.”)

Aside from the digital release of the Filipino track, Maymay will also be performing Nasaan ang Hiling live at SM Seaside Cebu on March 19 and SM Lanang Premier, Davao on March 21. Both performances, scheduled at 5 PM, are open to the public.
“Disney’s Snow White,” the live-action musical reimagining of the studio’s classic 1937 film, is a magical music adventure which journeys back to the timeless story with Rachel Zegler in the title role and Gal Gadot as her Stepmother, the Evil Queen. The film opens exclusively in cinemas March 19, 2025.
Nasaan ang Hiling‘s original English version, Waiting on a Wish, is the first single from Walt Disney Records’ original soundtrack. It was written by EGOT® winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, with additional lyrics by Jack Feldman. The song was produced by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Ian Eisendrath and Dave Metzger, and is performed by Rachel Zegler.
