Manila – The critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen is finally coming to Manila! GMG Productions has confirmed the run of the UK touring production at The Theatre at Solaire in September 2025. This marks the first time audiences in the Philippines will experience one of the most celebrated musicals of the past decade.

Dear Evan Hansen tells the story of Evan, a high school student struggling with anxiety and seeking a sense of belonging. When a misunderstanding turns into something much bigger, Evan is faced with an impossible choice: tell the truth and lose everything, or embrace a lie that brings him closer to the life he’s always dreamed of. The musical features music by the award-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Steven Levenson.
