In light of CoVID-19, Discovery Channel premieres a series of virus-related shows that will be airing in the following weeks – Coronavirus: The Silent Killer highlights CoVID-19 as the world’s most dangerous supervirus.
With at least 140 confirmed cases and several locations under community quarantine, the Philippines is pulling out all the stops to curb the devastating effects of the mysterious new coronavirus.
Amidst the CoVID-19 pandemic, Discovery Channel aims to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding its origins and explores the different ways people can address the contagion. This is also Discovery Channel’s effort to better understand the origin of the pandemic and which measures are best to implement in curbing its devastating effects.
The series premieres on Wednesday, 18 March 2020, at 09:00 PM on Discovery Channel (Sky Cable CH 39/Cignal TV CH 140/Destiny Cable CH 56) with repeated telecast on the following dates:
