Jo Koy, the Fil-Am stand-up comedian will have his 3rd Netflix special entitled Jo Koy: In His Elements which will premiere globally on June 12.
Third time’s the charm for Jo Koy as he feels it is a very special show since he’s been wanting to go back to the Philippines and show the world where his mother is from. He brings with him a bunch of his Filipino friends who live in the U.S. and have not been back to their homeland. He wants to show them how beautiful the country and the people are and put together a show
Jo Koy is very proud of this special because everything about it is Filipino; from the cameramen, the people in the audience, to the venue owners. He brings Netflix to the Philippines to help embrace Filipino culture and make his mom proud.
The show will feature Filipino American comedians, DJ’s and B-boys. He will spotlight breakdancer Ronnie, Grammy-winning producer !llmind, singer/songwriter Iñigo Pascual, and comedians Andrew Lopez, Joey Guila, and Andrew Orolfo.
Jo Koy was in the country last January 2020 for the Manila and Cebu leg of his Just Kidding World Tour.
