Philippines. April 10, 2023 – During the STAR WARS Celebration in London last April 7th, Disney+ and Lucasfilm unveiled the thrilling teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ original series “Ahsoka,”. It stars Rosario Dawson in the title role who is reprising her role from The Mandalorian. Set after the fall of the Empire, the series follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Dawson, the new series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla. Ahsoka is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.
The series is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from “The Mandalorian”. It takes place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), while also serving as a continuation of the animated series Star Wars Rebels.
“Ahsoka” will debut exclusively on Disney+ in August 2023.
